On Sept 4, CAC released the Implementation Plan for Promoting Coordinated Digital and Green Transformation (2026-2030). The Plan establishes a policy framework for integrating digital technologies, including AI, big data, 5G, industrial internet, and digital twins, with green and low-carbon technologies. The Plan is intended to support China’s broader digital and green development strategies and contribute to the goal of achieving carbon peaking before 2030.
