USITO Call for Comments: SAMR Releases Draft National Standard on Association Standardization - Code for Good Practice
On June 10, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) released the draft national standard Association Standardization - Code for Good Practice for public comment. The draft concerns social organization standardization, or association standardization, activities and aims to incorporate updated national requirements into the full lifecycle management of social organization standards, including management functions, working systems, standard development procedures, implementation and application, evaluation rules, and internationalization. For member companies, the draft may be relevant where social organization standards are used as technical references in industry practice, certification, procurement, market access, or as potential inputs for future national standards. The comment period will close on August 2, 2026; if you would like to submit comments, please kindly send your feedback to USITO by July 2 for the first round of comments. USITO’s second round of comments is scheduled for July 9.
