USITO Call for Comments: SAMR Released Administrative Measures for Carbon Footprint of Products Label Certification (Trial) (Draft for Comments)
On Sept 26, SAMR released the Administrative Measures for Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) Label Certification (Trial) (Draft for Comments) for public comments, with a deadline set for October 26, 2026. The Measures are formulated to implement China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategies, regulate CFP label certification activities, and unify the use and management of CFP labels, in accordance with the Certification and Accreditation Regulations of the People’s Republic of China and other applicable regulations.
