NPCSC Adopts Revised Trademark Law
On June 26, the 23rd Session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress adopted the revised Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China. The revised law consists of nine chapters and eighty-seven articles, covering general provisions, conditions for trademark registration, trademark registration applications, examination and approval, renewal, modification, assignment and cancellation of registered trademarks, declaration of invalidity, trademark administration, protection of exclusive rights to registered trademarks, and supplementary provisions. The revised law will take effect on January 1, 2027.
