MIIT Published the 12th Five Year Plan For Internet of Things

On February 13th, 2012, MIIT published the 12th Five Year Plan for Internet of Things.  The plan stated that and over 200 national or industrial standards should be set before 2015. MIIT also plans to build 10 industrial parks and cultivate 100 Internet of Things enterprises. The plan calls for the Internet of Things to play an increasingly important role in the public safety, power, logistics, healthcare, environmental protection, and other important sectors. The Chinese government plans to implement tax, fiscal, and other financial support policies to support R&D and the 'industrialization' of Internet of Things technologies.
