China Mobile Labs Blog Entry on 4G Spectrum Licensing

In a blog entry, China Mobile Labs described China's current spectrum licensing for 4G LTE, about which it is concerned. According to the post, not only have Chinese regulators been slow to decide on which spectrum to license to which carriers, China has been unsuccessful both internationally at the ITU and at a national level in Europe, the U.S. and Africa, in securing prime spectrum real estate technology. The post says: 'Not only is this important for TD-LTE technology specifically, but for China's general say in international spectrum allocation...as the leader in TD-LTE technology, China should make efforts to promote the rights and interests of TD-LTE.' 'Don't hesitate like was done with the roll-out of TD-SCDMA.'
