USITO/USCBC joint event on cyber security in Beijing, May 12th, 2010

Dear Members,

 

USITO and USCBC cordially invite you to attend a briefing on cyber security Wednesday, May 12 in Beijing. This program will feature a presentation and discussion led by Stewart Baker, (http://www.steptoe.com/professionals-762.html), former Assistant Secretary for Policy at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), who will the discuss real and perceived cyber risks facing companies today, the anticipated direction of US policy, and implications for businesses operating in China. At DHS, Mr. Baker created and led the department's DHS Policy Directorate and helped DHS navigate complex issues including cybersecurity. Previously, he served as the General Counsel for the National Security Agency. Now in private practice at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, Stewart's practice covers technology and security issues including telecommunications, encryption, electronic surveillance, homeland security, law enforcement.
