Luncheon - “The Road to Recovery in the Global Semiconductor Industry”
12:00 -14:00 January 15, 2010 (Friday)
Le Royal Meridien, Shanghai
SIA, USITO and KPMG jointly present an executive luncheon briefing on the Global Technology Outlook for 2010. Gary Matuszak, KPMG Global Chair of Information, Communications and Entertainment will be pleased to share a new thought leadership publication titled "The Road to Recovery in the Global Semiconductor Industry – A Survey of Industry Executives." The Global Semiconductor Survey, now in its fifth year, is developed in collaboration with the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) to identify trends and issues in the global semiconductor industry and to gain critical insight into the forces shaping the semiconductor market. Compared to last year, the outlook for the semiconductor industry appears to be dramatically healthier. In fact, the confidence level of our respondents in this year’s survey is quite similar to the level in 2007. However, industry executives continue to show a degree of lingering skepticism on the strength of the recovery.
